Sunnyside Preserve

RACC and Kendal have established a partnership for management of the Sunnyside Preserve. Kendal will maintain a mowed track through the grassy area and a woodland path has been designed and cleared by volunteers. Professional mapping of the wetlands is complete and plans are under way to bring native plants into riparian zones.

RACC is also working with the Chesapeake Bay Upper James program for removal of exotic invasive plants and replanting with native species riparian vegetation.
